The third round of the Sony Ericsson Open wraps up Monday with the top half of the draw on court. World No. 1 and 2005-06 champion Roger Federer, No. 5 seed Robin Soderling of Sweden, No. 7 Marin Cilic of Croatia, No. 9  Fernando Gonzalez of Chile and No. 10 Fernando Verdasco of Spain are the highest seeds on the schedule.

In the first match on Stadium, American Mardy Fish looks to even his career mark against No. 29 seed Feliciano Lopez, who has won two of the previous three meetings. In the following match, Federer takes on Frenchman Florent Serra for the first time.

In the evening session, Gonzalez takes a 5-0 career mark against No. 22 seed Juan Monaco, who celebrates his 26th birthday Monday.
