Fiery Nicolas Anelka has been sent home from the World Cup after allegedly insulting France coach Raymond Domenech during the Mexico match.

Anelka was given the chance to make a public apology, but refused ending his World Cup dreams and any hope of any further International prospects with the national team.

The French team are already struggling  after a shock defeat at the hands of Mexico and the news Domenech will step down after the World Cup, it seem’s they need nothing short of a miracle to return to the form that saw them make the final 4 years ago. France v Mexico highlights
