Tevez Says Sorry

Carlos Tevez, on his return from Argentina after 3 months, has apologised to the club and its manager Roberto Mancini regarding his actions which came to see him not play for the club he used to captain for many months.
Tevez, who is 28, clearly believes this is a chance of kickstarting his career. This kicked off when Tevez refused to warm up to come on as a substitute in November in the 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
It is estimated that Tevez has lost £10 million in fines and loss of earning after imposing his exile upon himself, therefore making it unpaid.
However, if Tevez manages to worm his way back into the Manchester City set up, he could add extra meddles to his collection as his team manages to continue their assault on the title.
Therefore it seems, despite interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, Carlos Tevez could be back on our screens wearing a sky blue shirt once again.
Haye Could Face Prison
Published February 20, 2012 | David Haye and his partner in the brawl Dereck Chisora are facing the prospect of charges by the German Police after their brawl at Chisora’s press conference.
Chisora has surrounded himself with controversy recently, before his fight with Vitali Klitschko he spat water in the face of his brother and slapped Klitschko at the weigh in.
Chisora lost on points, but put up a greater performance than Haye, who disappointed all his fans in 2011 when he meekly fought the Russian.
Although Haye is reported to have thrown the first punch and is being investigated for more serious crimes, he is said to be happy to assist the boxing authorities with their investigations.
However, eye whiteness accounts claim that Haye was acting in self defence, it is also on video that Chisora was claiming he would ‘shoot him’ at the end of the brawl.
This means the Zimbabwean born heavyweight could lose his boxing license, something that is not possible for Haye as he is officially retired.

Liverpool Score 6
Published February 19, 2012 | Liverpool have made their progress into the quarter finals of the FA Cup with a quality victory over Brighton by 5 goals at Anfield.
The match was a corker, but particularly notable for the 3 own goals that were scored by Brighton, including 2 from unfortunate defender Liam Bridcutt.
Martin Skrtel opened the scoring after just 5 minutes, settling the nerves of the hosts who were up against a Brighton side who have played with flair all season.
This was cancelled out 12 minutes later by Kazenga Lua Lua who scored from a distance to give the visitors hope that their journey was not in vain. Bridcutt then got in on the act, scoring his first own goal a minute before the break to give Dalglish’s team a boost.
Liverpool were well on top in the second half, and Andy Carroll capitalised with an important goal for his reputation around the club before a quick fire double of own goals from Brighton put the game out of reach of the Seagulls.
Suarez finished it off with a header with 5 minutes left to make it a real good day for the Reds and their fans.
The other result of note was the 0-0 draw shared by Stevenage and Tottenham which will see a reply at White Hart Lane.

Huddersfield Shockingly Sack Clark
Published February 15, 2012 | Lee Clark has been sacked by Huddersfield, despite leading them to only 3 losses in the last 55 games.
Clark was said to have been having “a deteriorating relationship” with the board and the loss to Sheffield United last night meant the end of his tenancy at the helm of the club, which started in 2008.
Pundits everywhere are baffled and many fans absolutely outraged although some are claiming it was the right decision. It seems Huddersfield Town fans consider themselves a bigger club than they perhaps are, only time will tell if they have got rid of a manger who was holding them back, or as many suspect, pushing them higher than where they deserve to be. The team has talent, no question, but there is a reason Clark was the favourite for so many jobs this season, he did too.
Mark Lillis has been placed in charge, a boost up form the Academy side, but Neil Warnock is being touted as the man for the job from many fans, a risky decision by all accounts.
